How Important is the Heart Brain Connection?

Dear friends,

The heart-brain is very important, as it connects us both psychologically and biologically. Biologically, the main pathway between the two is the vagus nerve. It gets activated through breathing exercises, humming, singing, meditation, yoga, and even creativity.
Studies show that the heart’s rhythm patterns can influence cognitive performance. Heart-brain synchronization enhances intuition, decision-making, and emotional intelligence.
Suppose you are recovering from an illness like breast cancer or dealing with emotional stress. In that case, working on your heart-brain coherence through practices like slow breathing, journaling, gratitude, and meditation can have deep and measurable benefits.
So does a higher education matter without this connection? These have been my thoughts.
