Attitude of Gratitude
Worried about money? Worried about your health? Worried about where your child will go to college and how you will pay? Worried about your upcoming move? Worrying if you are eating right? I think if worrying were a paying job we would all be rich.
Here’s the anecdote to worry.. an attitude of gratitude. As author Andre’ Dubus points out, “It is not hard to live through the day if you can live through the moment. What creates despair is the imagination, which pretends there is a future and insists on predicting millions of moments , thousands of days, and so drains you that you cannot live the moment at hand”.
Gratitude brings you back to the present moment. For now think of all that is good in your life. Feeling grateful makes you connect with the universal abundance; the miracle of life, your heart beating, and the simple things you most love.
Chances are you’ve gone thru some challeng stuff but you will continue to be supported on your journey through life, even in ways you would never have guessed or chosen for yourself.
