Four Ways to Enliven Your Chakras

Dear friends,
Imagine looking in a mirror and seeing your whole body as a field of light and color?

That would be a reflection of your “chakras” vibrating.

According to quantum physics, everything in the universe is vibrating at a certain frequency. These
frequencies of energy in the body are known as chakras. Gifted healers and clairvoyants can see them
but the average person can also recognize them with a little understanding.

The chakra system originated in India between 1500 and 500 BC in the oldest text called the Vedas.

The energy body according to Ayurvedic wisdom ( one of the Vedic texts) is called the “subtle body” and
its centers lie along the base of the spine through the crown of the head in an energetic form expressing as
color and sound.

These Seven centers also called the “auric field” relate to specific mental, emotional and physical
aspects of your being.  For example; if you have thyroid issues you may want to inquire about your throat chakra for
some clues to balance your health. Are you expressing your needs? Are you blocking your creative
expression? Have you always wanted to sing or write?
If you have digestive issues you may want to inquire about the function of the third chakra to see if you have
healthy boundaries,  are making healthy choices and feel good about your life. Related to the third chakra you
may have had a childhood trauma that you never spoke about. The root chakra which stems from the base of the spine through the legs reflects grounding and is related to the adrenals. Are you stressed? Would putting your feet up for ten minutes with some tea help to feel grounded? Have you recently experienced a loss? Do you get angry easily? Your heart chakra may be affected. Feeling self-compassion, forgiveness, opens the heart chakra.

Each chakra reveals a clue about the state of your health.

On a day to day basis, the chakras are affected by the energy of your experiences,
emotions, relationships, grief, and loss, stress, anxiety, depression, life changes, hormones, political stress and the seasons.

What are some ways to balance your chakras?

1. Regular practice of meditation. Visualizing the colors of the chakras which correlate with the colors of the rainbow can “tune” up your energy body. It can be as little as ten minutes or up to 30 minutes.

2. Pick up a few of your favorite gemstones and place them on your body with your feet up or lying down for a quick rest.
Chakra stones help to clear negative energy from your body and from your surroundings. It’s truly when the “magic” happens in the Marma sessions.

Phoenix and Dragon Bookstore on Roswell Rd in Atlanta has a good variety of stones for purchase. They also make great gifts.

3. Take a walk in nature. Absorbing the colors around you while you walk; the sky, trees, clouds, and light will help to balance your chakras. Of course only if you are paying attention and not on a cell phone.

4. Chanting the sounds of the chakras can fine-tune your body and refresh your energy. Read more in the vibrational chapter of my book ” Enough Drugs! I am a Woman and Can Heal Naturally.”
5. Have regular Marma sessions. Marma therapy is a rare energy therapy focusing on enlivening the chakras. By caring for your energy body you are directly affecting your physical body. Learn more about how the energy body affects the physical body here

There is so much focus on what we eat, what not to eat, how we exercise, and even down to how we drink our coffee, but in my experience, the real transformation of health and wellness happens on a deeper layer first; in the subtle body. It’s part of the reason why I chose to focus on energy healing in my practice and even went as far as studying in a three-year comprehensive program on the human energy field outside of the Marma training. Forget about the training, my personal experience with meditation and the practices I share with you on a regular basis helps to raise your vibrations, helping you to connect with your “inner” light. That’s when health begins to shift, that’s when healing begins to happen, that’s when wholeness becomes something you feel. That’s when you can truly enjoy your life instead of trying to chase after yourself. I’m speaking from my truth.

Blessings to you on your path as you touch upon your inner light.

I believe that this is our true purpose.
with warm regards,
Gedalia

 Red Lentil Soup
This easy and quick cooking soup is chock full of nutrients! Lentils are high in protein, fiber, magnesium, and iron.
What I really like is how quickly red lentils cook.

Recipe:
Saute one chopped onion, a cube of fresh ginger in olive oil. ( about Tbsp).
Add two chopped carrot and celery and saute a few more minutes. Add rinsed red lentils and 5-6 cups stock or water. Bring to boil and reduce heat. In the last ten minutes of cooking can add one chopped zucchini and a handful of kale or use whatever vegetables you have. I had fresh basil so I added it. You can omit the last step if you don’t have the vegetables. I had leftover wild rice so I added to the soup. Basmati rice cooked on the side can be added as well. Squeeze with fresh lemon, s, and p to taste and hit of cayenne. Cooking time is about twenty minutes.

Marma therapy or Marma Chikitsa, it’s Sanskrit name is the oldest anti-aging therapy available on the planet. Did you know acupuncture originated from Marma?
How is Marma anti-aging? The Marma points are not mere physical points- they are points of consciousness, awakening the body’s natural inner pharmacy. In my sessions, I combine Marma with sound, essential oils, and gemstones. The results are transforming. Marma therapy enlivens the chakras and can make you feel light and energetic. Marma reduces pain on all levels, transforms negative emotions and rejuvenates the skin.
