Ayurvedic Tips and Reminders

Sound is the primary sense in Ayurveda. For example; the beating of the heart, a beautiful song and  the sound of a  splash of water. Our body releases pleasure producing chemicals when we hear sounds and also make sounds.

For Vata; sounds can be warming, grounding and relaxing

For Pitta; cool sweet sounds like the ocean waves or cool jazz are pleasing

Kapha;a driving beat such as rap, rock and roll and drumming are stimulating

 

Sound has the potential to transform our biology.
