Ayurvedic Tips and Reminders
The trees have been ‘surrendering” their leaves so gracefully in various colors of red, yellow, orange and crimson . This is a beautiful time of the year no doubt! This change of season known as ‘vata’ in ayurveda is a season where we can also surrender emotions, things we don’t use or need, and unnecessary patterns that get in the way of expressing our full potential. I have found myself rearranging pictures on the walls of my home space, repainting walls, and freshening up the bedroom for more restful sleep. Certainly color affects how you feel. Many clients are also feeling this letting go process within themselves perhaps through cleansing and in redoing their living spaces. This is natural and part of the change of seasons as we must also discard what is no longer needed, just as nature demonstrates so elegantly and gracefully.
To support this process of making more space within, I invite you to a class I am offering @ Atlanta Center for Holistic Medicine entitled:
A Holistic Approach to Grief and Loss through Sound and Color ( better alternatives to Prozac)!
